Nicola’s “must have’s” for s/s 20.

I’m going to try and restrict my “must have’s” to four styles…!  It’s extremely difficult but as I am embarking on a very different lifestyle, I am consciously looking at practicability rather than the “killer heels” as you’ve grown accustomed to me wearing during the years instore!!

As my daily routine will base me either in the office or building stands at various trade or shopping events, a very different style of footwear will definitely be required!!

I love designing all the Chelsea Boots and the results have always proved so popular with you all;  however, to date, I have to admit never wearing a pair as I would normally pick a heel over a flat to give me some height but that’s already changed, as I absolutely can’t resist these!!

The neutral colour, with a contrasting peach elastic, works with every colour of jeans. For me, I would team them up with either a peach leather jacket, a peach scarf, or a splash of peach somewhere! These really are the most versatile footwear ever!! Cleverly designed with Patent Moc Croc at the back, where most of the wear from driving would appear and, having sprayed the suede with water-proof protector, I’m not worried about the fact that they are a relatively light colour.  Any dirt will simply dry and brush off if you protect them first!! As far as comfort goes, the combination of super soft leathers with a supple and padded footbed results in the most comfortable walking experience ever!

My second “go to” style is one that no one can live without….. Navy… who doesn’t need a Navy shoe!  In Patent Moc Croc, it’s easy to wear casually with jeans or dress up for the evening/office.  A sensible 2” block heel but with an almond toe to keep a very wearable shoe, both elegant and oozing sophistication!   My outfit choice with these would be white jeans and a Navy jacket, be it blazer or box cut, they are simply a timeless piece of footwear.
