Another successful trip to Milan, buying for Autumn/Winter 2012.
With more wonderful collections from our existing designers, and a few new names to add……… exciting times ahead!.
Not only have we managed to secure an exclusive supply of many new gorgeous footwear designers, we have found a wonderful family run company manufacturing exquite belts with glamerous jewelled buckles. With their own factory we are able to go the extra mile and offer a bespoke belt collection, if there is a belt you’ve been looking for to complete that perfect oufit, but never found, chances are we can help!
Buying for you and the store is such a satisfying part of my job………… I love it!!
Christmas is coming……..
With Christmas just around the corner, I thought it relevant to share with you our Christmas Gift Idea’s. This year we really have gone to town on expanding the gift range, hoping that we will help you find that “something special” for your loved ones.
We have our usual Jewellery Collections from Butterfly and Barbara Easton, but on top of that we are delighted to welcome to the store two Jewellery Designers, one local lady Nina, who’s handmade silver and gem stone pieces are traditional and elegant, and also Melissa James who shares with us something quite different, (and you know how we like different). She is inspired by the creativity and bold use of colour seen in remote parts of the world, as well as by the soft balance found in nature. This inspiration is channeled with an intuitive and artistic eye to complement and enhance the clothes designs for each season. Her designs are simply breathtaking.
We have increased our collection of Gloves from Italian Brand Gala Gloves, this year we are able to offer cashmere lined gloves in a variety of designs and colours, some with French Rabbit Fur Cuffs. We can also introduce Faux Fur Huffs, Cuffs, Slippers, Boot Liners & Toppers, and Scarves from Moore & Moore and a stunning Hat Collection from Whiteley Fischer (as worn by Kate Middleton). Socks by Burlington and the ever-popular Acrylic Glass Evening Bags by Frandami.
We have our usual collection of magnificent Scarves from Italca in an array of colours and designs and the new Scarf Laces from Saako. Butterfly Blue has launched a new winter collection of Liberty Print Scarves for their Scarf Belts and I am also stocking a selection of their range of interchangeable Belt Buckles with Leather Belts.
My newest find………which I am SOoo excited about………. is a wonderful Scented Candle from Connock London. I met Amanda at a fair in London and absolutely loved her product, a Kukui Oil which she sourced herself from Hawaii. The Candle retailing at £36.80, complete with own matches and beautiful presentation box, makes an excellent present, as does the Body Lotion and Body Wash.

Autumn………we’re ready for you!!
Goodness, the summer season was incredibly busy and now having cleared the remaining sale items to make way for the new seasons stock, I’m ashamed to say the store was actually looking rather “well worn”!!!
Fear not, call it Autumn cleaning………we are all spick and span now with beautiful new seasons stock adoringly positioning itself on our gleaming white shelves, come in and see for yourself!

Our Italian Scarves are selling like crazy this week, in fact its been an accessories week all round, our new collection of Butterfly Jewellery needs replenishing already, talk about a “hit” with Bury St Edmunds………come and see for yourselves!

Ok Magazine March 2011 Interview with Louise Roe….The British Fashion journalist-turned-TV-darling resides in Los Angeles and found herself with a presenting job at the Oscars last month.
“ We couldn’t resist asking a genuine fashionista what her best tip is: “I dress from the shoe up – they can make or break an outfit. You can wear great shoes with jeans and a T-shirt but if you’ve got a great dress and a rubbish shoe you can make the dress look cheap and nasty.
My sentiments exactly!!!
