Night & Day Fashion Show
We are delighted to be amongst some of the region’s leading independent retailers revealing their new season collections at the Night & Day Fashion Show. Featuring special performances by some of DanceEast’s youngest (and more mature!) dancers, and hosted by TV and radio personality, Simon Warr.
For the first time the DanceEast Friends Foundation is working in association with locally-based model agency, Modelgateway. And Antonio Giovanni Hairdressers and Image Beauty Salon will be backstage to primp and preen the models.
The 7.30pm Fashion Show includes a special appearance from Men in Skirts, back by popular demand!

The DanceEast Friends Foundation runs events to support the work of DanceEast. Proceeds from this event will be donated to DanceEast’s community participation and education work with schools, hospitals and looked after children.

Autumn/Winter 11 Collections start to arrive
Nila & Nila
We have had our first delivery of Nila & Nila Boots, which include a wonderfully practical but very stylish low wedge knee boot in both black and brown, two gorgeous high black boots and a low heeled over the knee boot. The remaining Nila and Nila collection is due to arrive at the end of August and will include more flatties and two wonderful fur lined “Timberland” type ankle boots, as requested by many customers last year!
Baiseres Des Etoiles.
This is a new collection to my store and in fact the UK, these boots are so “Nicola Sexton” and certainly not for the faint hearted. I’m not talking just the women…… Gents, if you want your Ladies to have the real “WOW” factor take a look………. black patent, black suede with a lace up back, brown patent crocodile and a lace “over the knee” boot to name but a few……….. This collection has now been despatched and could be in store by the weekend!
Shabbies
Another new addition to the store is what I can only describe as an “up market UGG Boot”, known as “Shabbies” from Amsterdam. Fred de la Bretoniere is the designer, his strength is the use of natural materials to create timeless designs. For example, Fred has used vegetable-tanned leather, which looks better and better the more it is worn. Designs are created in Amsterdam and then sent for production in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Mexico. This season I have two boots from the collection a taupe leather low healed knee boot and sludge green leather wedge boot with fur lining. These designs are sophisticated yet practical every day foot wear for the winter months that lay ahead and as one of the very few English distributors for this brand, drop by the store and take a look, I know you won’t be disappointed!
With lots more still to come from Pura Lopez, Gaia d’este, Luciano Padovan, Stuart Weitzman and my own label its an exciting time ahead……..

Nila & Nila Boots Now In
Nila & Nila Autumn/Winter Collection has now hit the store. More fabulous design by the wonderful Italian Designer. A further delivery with new styles to include a very practical “timberland style boot” will follow mid August. Not what you would expect to find at “Nicola Sexton”, however on demand last year for fur lined boots we hope we have come up with the goods! I’m sure you’ll tell us.
